A peer-reviewed publication, JHCPU addresses such diverse areas as health care access, quality, costs, legislation, regulations, health promotion, and disease prevention from a U.S. perspective. Regular features include research papers and reports, literature reviews, policy analyses, and evaluations of noteworthy health care programs. A recent special issue addressed "Public Health Implications of Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma," including the DVDs: "After the Wind, Child, After the Water's Gone"; and "Voices of the Storm: Six Months After Katrina" / "Voices of the Storm: One Year after Katrina." The Journal includes an ACU column written by ACU members.
